Princess Retreat Mission Project

Some of the Young Ladies who were part of the Princess Retreat, being sponsored by FBC Natchitoches, spent some
time on a Mission Project, helping to clean the Missions and Ministries Office, which was greatly appreciated.

During the Thanksgiving Holidays each year, several trucks and trailer loads of Clothes, Shoes, Blankets, a large supply of Food, and many other helpful Miscellaneous Items are taken from District Eight Churches to Eagle Pass, Texas, to be distributed by Missionaries Frank and Isabel Banda into the interior of Mexico over the following months.
This project was begun several years ago and has grown each year since. District Eight folks have assisted with Evangelistic Efforts in Mexico, and in the construction of several churches. Notice the set of pictures below. Their first building was nothing more than a "brush arbor", but with District Eight churches helping, they now have a quality building to worship in. They built the foundation, then the walls, and as you see, the last part was a solid concrete roof. Not our style of construction, but it works great for them. They are very grateful for our assistance.
